March 2021. R01 related to resilience, social support, cultural alignment, and cognition in the Strong Heart Study was funded in 2020 by the National Institute on Aging. Currently getting all the 10 or so IRB and tribal approvals for this project, which takes about a year. Also, working with the parent study to coordinate with the big launch of recruitments next February.

This grant comes out of a HERC-supported pilot analysis in the Strong Heart Study on stress and resilience-related factors (like social support) and their association with vascular brain injury and neurodegeneration.
